Call for Artists!

As part of our NRPA Nutrition Grant, we are creating an adult coloring book that will highlight several Asheville community gardens. We intend to include a history of each garden, an interview with one outstanding local gardener, provide food resource information etc. This is a joint project with the Council on Aging.

We are hoping to commission 5 artists to draw one of the selected gardens - George Washington Carver Edible Park, Southside Garden, Lucy Herring Garden, the Peace Garden and one other garden that we still have to get permission first before I announce it.
