Tomorrow, Friday, April 19 is the day! What a great way to celebrate Earth Day coming up!
At the Dr. George Washington Edible Park there will be a Native Tree Giveaway for The East End/Valley Street Neighborhood Association Community and surrounding areas! Asheville GreenWorks will be set up from 1-3pm on Friday, April 19 giving away trees! The list of trees being offered is on the flier! The window of planting is quickly closing with the heat coming in so come get these trees and let's get them planted!
Please stick around for the Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park workday from 2:30pm - 5pm on Friday, April 19 as well! We will be prepping areas for trees, doing some planting, weeding, mulching, and maintaining the food forest! Snacks and water will be provided! This event is rain or shine!
