Early Voting for the 2026 primary election starts February 12!

PLEASE NOTE: Buncombe County will not have Early Voting on Saturday 2/4 or Sunday 2/15. Plan accordingly!

“Midterm elections” sounds kind of second-tier, but every NC legislative and US Congressional seat has a two-year terms, so this election cycle is just as important. This year, NC also has the monumental responsibility of electing a US Senate member, and crucially important NC supreme court and appeals court seats. And of course, there are the vital close-to-home local races.
