Close the GAP Community Opinion Survey
Updated: Mar 6, 2022
The City of Asheville is underway in a project to update Asheville’s Greenway (G), Accessibility (A), and Pedestrian (P) Plans. The combined plan, which they’re referring to as “Close the GAP”, will look to update and expand the network of accessible sidewalks and greenways for our community.
This is the final survey of Close the GAP where you will have a chance to comment on proposed project recommendations. Before completing this survey, please watch the video first which explains the content of the survey.
In addition, Lucy Crown, City of Asheville Transportation Planning Manager/Greenways Coordinator and Anna Sexton, Transportation Department Urban Planner are working with Kim Kennedy at the Stephens-Lee Recreation Center to host a community drop-in session on the Close the GAP project and survey on Friday March 4th from 3-6 p.m. where the community can stop by, ask questions about the project, and take the survey on tablets or in written form.
